University of Florida Begins Podcasting Campus Events

The University of Florida (UF) want to reach the rapidly growing number of people using MP3 players such as Apple Computer’s popular iPod, reported News4Jax.com.

UF has been podcasting since early this month. School officials said UF is the first state university in Florida to offer the new broadcasting format for university news.

Current podcast includes talks in many different areas from natural hormone that aids in childbirth that shorten the time needed to straighten teeth, to hurricane impact of the 2004 hurricane season and eye disease.
