TalkShoe to Share Revenue with Hosts
Posted by Hendry Lee in Podcast Advertising
TalkShoe, a free service that allows anyone to create audio podcast, will offer its podcast hosts a percentage of revenue based upon number of listeners. To do that, TalkShoe will insert audio ads within podcasts.
Other sources of revenues include Google AdSense and feed advertising.
Probably the uniqueness of TalkShoe lies in the fact that the podcasting service and directory is simple to use to record conference calls and automatically put in the podcast directory.
Participants of the conference calls have the option to call in using a telephone, Skype, Vonage or Yahoo!. Support for SIP is coming soon. In group call feature, up to 25 people can contribute to the live conversations. This is enough for corporates to host an internal call or for marketing. The recording is automatic and includes text chats that can also be archived.
Finished podcast will be listed in the directory where visitors can leave comments and write reviews.
Of course, the service also allows a solo host podcast, of which you can talk about specific subject and let others with the same interest listen to it. TalkShoe called this more common type of podcast Talkcast.
