PodShow has added an option to purchase and register custom domain names via GoDaddy during the PodShow+ account creation.

As PodShow Plus users progress through the program registration form, GoDaddy.com’s integrated services will recommend available domain names based on th euser or show name. Users can also use PodShow’s delivery, free hosting services, production and promotion tools included with their PodShow+ account.

“Helping podcasters to register a domain name as part of the PodShow+ service creates a simplified process, helping these independent producers to extend their audience reach with a unique, memorable Web site address,” said Bob Parsons, CEO and the founder of The Go Daddy Group, Inc.

GoDaddy thinks podcasting is an opportunity. Recently the company had launched a podcast hosting package which provides not only hosting but also feed generation and promotion tools for podcast starters.
