Podcatching without a Computer

PenguinRadio introduced the release of the Solutions WebRadio. It is a standalone Internet radio appliance that streams Internet radio and podcasts. The appliance functions as a personal computer to download and manage different audio content.
Of course, it uses PenguinRadio Internet radio and podcast directory. With over 15,000 units now operating in Europe, the Solutions WebRadio is tested simplicity and practicality.

Users only need to connect to home, office or dial-up network. They can operate a simple channel selection and volume control on the device once connected.
“There are over 250 million radios in the US homes and one day every radio will work this way,” predicts Leyden. “Internet radio devices will be as common as FM in a few short years, and there will be a large market for radios of all styles and price ranges.
Solutions WebRadio is available for $239/$249 on PenguinRadio.
The appliance includes remote control unit, 2 AA batteries, ethernet patch cable, modem phone cable, RCA patch cable and power cord for internatl 110v power supply. Only MPEG-3 (MP3) audio format is listed as supported. It includes built-in 3-inch speaker and RCA outputs.
Well, features I would love to have: Wi-Fi, sync with iPod, wider and colored screen (currently 2 lines as in the picture).
