Audiolicious Converts Any RSS Feed into MP3 File

Audiolicious is a Windows program that lets you turn any RSS feed text into MP3 files. The software ses Microsoft Speech API and Ruby programming language.

The motivation behind the creation of Audiolicious is lack of quality content in today’s podcast (it’s still in the early days) and there are so much good textual content on the web, as Jonathan Aquino, the author of the software said.

Now, I don’t understand why the author uses the term podcast while what the software does is to convert text to audible sound file in MP3 format.

Audiolicious is in version 1.1 and could be improved in some ways. May be adding graphical configuration interface and multiple feeds could make the software more useful and easier for end-users.
