Apple Launches Podcasting Server

Apple has launched a new Apple podcasting server for the education market. It emphasizes on the concept of time-shifting. Course content and supplemental materials for students, including professional development offerings for educators, can now be delivered automatically to iPods.
The server makes blog and podcast freely available for subscription using the RSS 2.0 protocol. Apple’s Podcasting server makes publishing a podcast as easy as clicking a button and attaching a file.
The Apple Podcasting Server is built based on Mac OS X Server v10.4 operating system.
At the same page, Apple is offering two podcast guide for download. The Podcast Backbone Guide and Podcast Creation Guide are free production guides to help anyone to start podcasting.
